Abstract: During mining of shallow-buried seam with loose topsoil-hard-thin bedrock, especially in the process of primary mining face, in order to avoid personnel injury and equipment damage of mechanized mining face when large area of the roof collapse into a hurricane with huge impact load. The integrity of the roof should be damaged and relieved the destructive effect of first weighting with deep hole presplit blasting before its first collapse. Now , according to the working face geological conditions of jinjie coal mine, deep hole presplitting blasting parameters and process for primary mining face is studied by using methods of rock strata control theory、blasting theory and Field practice. After the test of practice, put a good effect, the damage has reduced successfully in the first weighting.
